Words of the Days

Sgt. Terry tepidly tapped his truncheon, turning his trenchant talk toward the teen. "Saying sorry scarcely soothes the sad sight of your sullied state."
Clearly caught, Charlie coughed a coarse counter "you're a right chouse copper."
Terry took to the teen's tough talk and turned his trademark tacit traits to their topmost, rightly rousting the rambunctious ruffian the rear of room.

This week's words of the day:
"chouse" v. cheat, trick
"trenchant" adj. keen, sharp
